William P. Barron, CPA is a principal in the firm, and provides tax, accounting and consulting services for medical and dental practices, entrepreneurs in retail, service, sales and construction businesses, from the preparation of financial statements to the formation of business plans. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Bill graduated from Central Connecticut State College with a B.S. degree in Accounting. Bill has more than 30 years of experience in working with clients.

Bill and his wife Barbara live in Kensington.

 

Allan Yanaros, CPA is a principal in the firm, and provides tax, accounting and consulting services for medical practices, closely-held businesses, and individuals. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. After receiving a B.S. degree in accounting from Central Connecticut State College in 1976, Allan began his accounting career in Miami, Florida where he worked for two years before joining the firm.
Al is a Vietnam veteran who served in 1970 as a salvage diver with an engineering unit. He currently lives in Avon with his wife and two children.

 


Michael J. Caruso, CPA is a principal in the firm, and provides tax, accounting and consulting services to medical practices, closely-held businesses and individuals. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tax Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants . He is regularly called upon to provide guidance in the areas of tax, retirement, and estate planning, as well as accounting and tax compliance issues, and serves as the firm's computer systems administrator. Michael graduated from the University of Hartford with B.S. degrees in Accounting and Insurance in 1980, and became a CPA in 1982.

When not behind his desk or in front of clients, Michael is typically found out on the tennis court or behind the camera. Michael also enjoys baseball and skiing.

  




Laura Schwartz, CPA is a principal in the firm, and primarily provides consulting and tax advisory services to medical practices and closely-held businesses. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, and state and national chapters of the Medical Group Management Group Association. She has conducted quarterly meetings regarding operational issues of medical practices for office managers and administrators, has given speeches for Connecticare, CMGMA, and physician groups at Hartford Hospital. She is a graduate of the University of Hartford with a B.S. degree in Accounting and became a CPA in 1984.

An avid tennis player, and member of the University of Hartford Sports Hall of Fame, Laura also enjoys hiking, paddle tennis and reading.





Anthony Pizzorusso, CPA is a principal in the firm and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1998 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. He has also achieved a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of New Haven in 2005, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He brings to the firm technical knowledge in computers and small business accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Intuit Point of Sale, as well as the knowledge to provide guidance in the areas of medical group accounting, estate planning and tax compliance.  He also conducts quarterly meetings regarding operational issues of medical practices for office managers and administrators.

When not spending time with his wife Veronica and two sons Ian and Max he enjoys cooking, photography and considers himself "the family handyman" around the house. He also volunteers and sits on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for the Open Hearth a shelter serving the homeless and troubled men of Hartford.


 Diana L. DiClemente, CPA is an accounting manager in the firm, and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Diana received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 1981, and has been a CPA since 1985. Since joining the firm in the summer of 1995, Diana's primary areas of activity and interest include medical group accounting, closely-held business consulting, and personal income tax planning and compliance.

Diana enjoys working out at the gym, gardening and traveling. "Di" to her family and friends, she is fluent in Italian, and lives in Rocky Hill.

 

 
Philip Tetreault, CPA is a manager in the firm. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Phil received his Bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts-Boston in 2002. Phil brings to our firm an interest in accounting, tax planning and compliance for closely-held businesses and individuals.

He also enjoys golfing and snow boarding. Phil lives in Granby with his wife Stephanie.

 

 
Brian Wilkinson is a senior accountant in the firm. He graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting in 2007. He joined the firm in January of 2008 and is interested in tax and small business accounting.

Brian also enjoys playing golf and relaxing with his family.

 

 
Naomi Ha is a staff accountant in the firm. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors degree in Accounting in 2007. She began working for the firm in January of 2008 and is interested in all aspects of tax and accounting.

She enjoys watching movies, playing racquetball, swimming, ballroom dancing and traveling.



 
Christopher Marion is a staff accountant with the firm. He graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting in 2008. He began working for the firm shortly thereafter and is currently pursuing his CPA certificate.

Chris enjoys watching movies, working out at the gym and traveling. He currently resides in Manchester.


  


Lany Pfeifer, CPA is a staff accountant with the firm. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Masters degree in Business Administration in 2006.  A member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants Lany has eight years of experience working in the private sector of accounting. She brings to the firm an interest in taxation and personal financial planning.

A cheerful and warm personage, Lany enjoys reading, bead jewelry and photography. She and her husband Howard live in South Glastonbury.

 


Adam Kozol is a staff accountant with the firm.  He graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  Adam is currently pursuing his Masters of Science in Accounting from the University of Hartford and his CPA certificate.







Elaine Toconis is a staff accountant in the firm. With over 30 years of experience, mostly with our firm, she is often called upon to assist clients in bookkeeping techniques, and training of new personnel on accounting procedures. Elaine handles the full spectrum of accounting responsibilities for our medical clients, as well as closely-held businesses.

Elaine enjoys watercolor painting, doing jigsaw puzzles and reading fiction novels, when not "crunching the numbers."
 
 



Susan I. Jalbert, CPA is a tax accountant in the firm, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Susan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University in 1991 and her Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford in 2000. She has been a CPA since 1995. Susan joins our firm with a strong interest in accounting and taxation for individuals and closely-held businesses.

 

Sherrill Stanton joined the firm in the winter of 1999 as the firm's office administrator. Sherrill brings over 25 years of experience in the areas of insurance, accounting, and administrative support with a strong computer orientation to the firm. Sherrill maintains the firm's internal bookkeeping systems, billing and collection functions, as well as overseeing the daily operations of the office.

Sherrill, her husband Joseph, and son Joe live in Rocky Hill.
