Barron, Yanaros & Caruso, P.C. is a growth oriented public accounting firm in Wethersfield, Connecticut with five partners, two managers, a senior, a tax accountant, four staff accountants (looking to be five), and two administrative staff. Our firm works with small businesses and individuals assisting with and providing bookkeeping services, financial statement preparation, tax preparation, tax planning, personal financial planning and management advisory services. Our client base is a diversified client base of physicians, dentists, attorneys, management consultants, construction and light manufacturing, as well as special projects. We do have a specialty niche in health care, which makes up close to 50% of the firm's clients. We offer a great work environment, challenging work and state of the art computer systems as well as one-on-one training.
Due to growth, we are currently looking to hire a full-time permanent Staff Accountant. Duties will include preparation of general ledgers, preparation of business and individual tax returns and financial statements, personal financial planning and tax planning. Each staff is assigned a set of clients who they will work with our partners, managers and senior.
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A fifth year and passing the CPA exam will be a future requirement.
